Elections for CDF TOC Project Seats

Tracy Miranda <tmiranda@...>

All,

4 of the 9 TOC seats are selected from CDF project representatives as per charter:

i) four representatives nominated by, and voted upon, by the technical oversight body (e.g., a technical steering committee) of the TOC Projects (as defined herein). Each TOC Project may nominate a maximum of one project representative to run for these seats.

We would like to kick off the election process for this, with a proposed timeline as:

Date

Event

May 3

Election announced, projects begin choosing candidates

May 14

Deadline for projects to choose candidate

May 21

Candidate profiles made public

May 24

Voting opens

June 11

Voting closes

June 23

Winners announced

July 1

New reps begin their term

Further details in the proposal are captured here: CDF TOC Project Rep Elections Proposal

Based on feedback in the TOC meeting today we will start moving forward towards this timeline and will be reaching out to project communities to select their nominees.

This is the first time we are running an election for the TOC project reps in this way and will be tracking here https://github.com/cdfoundation/foundation/issues/322. We will be working towards officially kicking off on May 3rd 2021!

Regards,

Tracy

Dear Tracy,
Dear CDF TOC members,

The Jenkins community has reviewed the potential candidates and nominated Oleg Nenashev (me) as the CDF TOC Project Representative candidate from Jenkins.
You can find the full track of the conversation in the Jenkins developer mailing list: https://groups.google.com/g/jenkinsci-dev/c/N0stgWNmPhg
The decision was signed off at the Jenkins Governance Meeting on May 05 (thread with links).

Please let us know if any additional information is needed.

Best regards,
Oleg Nenashev
